double exposures on color negative film converted to black and white
These exposures of eyes and stone faces question our ability to insight and communicate with others. In "Percepts" I try to view the question can we know the others in front of us, whose eyes always bring mirroring reflection and can we know the others, who stay behind us, when we are behind the camera? This experience can be traced in human memory and converted to meanings atainable in conscious perception. Architecture ornaments, gargoyles and statues reference historical periods and styles, but also the sustainability in communication.
